‘Scumbo’ donates to Calder School

Children attending the Stubbs and Calder Pre-Schools in the South Windward constituency recently received boxes of toys from the New Democratic Party (NDP) custodian Hermus “Scumbo” John.

John noted that children love to play with toys and that it is part of their educational development. “My interest is in the education of the children of this constituency” said John. He took time out to have a bit of fun with the kids as they selected their favourite toys from the overall collections.{{more}}

Some parents at Stubbs were present for the donation of gifts and expressed their satisfaction. John also used the opportunity to hand over a cheque to the PTA of the Stubbs Pre-School.

John is expected to make additional contributions to other educational institutions in the South Windward constituency at the primary and secondary school levels. John is expected to contest the South Windward constituency for the New Democratic Party in the upcoming general elections.
