Taiwanese Foreign Minister to visit SVG

In mid-May St.Vincent and the Grenadines will see a delegation of high ranking government officials coming from one of its staunchest allies, the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Foreign Minister, Dr. Tan Sun Chen will head a delegation to come over St. Vincent and the Grenadines for three days visit. This will be Dr. Tan Sun Chen’s first visit to St. Vincent and the Grenadines since his assuming the position of Foreign Minister in April 2004. {{more}}

Dr. Tan Sun Chen will bring to St. Vincent and the Grenadines not only goodwill and friendship but also assistance from afar. He, on behalf of the Republic of China (Taiwan), will present the monies for the building of four more multi-purpose learning resource centres, handing over cheques for establishing Agricultural Training Institute at Orange Hill, and US$100,000 earmarked for procurement of medical equipment.
