Final CRC Report out

The Constitution Review Commission has been given permission to flood the country with copies of the Final Report.

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves made this known as he addressed the formal launch of the Final Report last Wednesday 23 March. {{more}} He said that the Speaker, to whom the Report has been earlier presented in Parliament, had okayed the distribution of the document.

The Final Report of the CRC was the end result of months of canvassing of the views of Vincentians at home and in the Diaspora, who had turned out at consultations and offered their suggestions on what a review of the Constitution for St. Vincent and the Grenadines should be.

The Government Printery received kudos from both the Prime Minister and from the Deputy Chairman of the CRC Noel Jackson for their excellent work in producing the document. This it was pointed out, was achieved despite paper shortages during the Reports’s printing.
