Radio station for Sandy Bay

Welcoming the Honduran Garifuna delegation to the Sandy Bay community, area representative Montgomery Daniel said that his administration understands the importance of those who sacrificed for this country and noted that this is why government has ensured that the Paramount Chief became the First National Hero.{{more}}

Daniel announced that there would be a link up with Garifuna radio stations in Honduras, Guatemala, Belize and Dominica to establish a community radio station in Sandy Bay. He said this is to help the indigenous peoples remember their culture and history.
