Society for Disabilities to host march and rally

The National Society of Person with Disabilities will be holding their annual Walkathon and Rally on March 4, under the theme: “Cultivating Special Education through Integration, not Segregation. {{more}}

The march begins at Frenches Gate at 9 a.m. while the rally will be held at the Old Public Library with brief remarks from the Ministers of Education and Social Development Mike Browne and Selmon Walters respectively, with the feature address expected to come from Basil Charles.

The Society said that collection boxes would be placed at banks and other business places around the city with designated collectors wearing ID badges. The Society has indicated that there will be no sponsor sheets being issued for this fundraising venture.
