CDC markets vincy carnival

Outlining that some 6,700 persons visited these shores for Vincy Mas last year, Marketing and Promotion Officer Faylene Findlay-Scrubb said that the CDC plans to further increase visitor arrivals through extensive marketing strategies. {{more}}

She noted that one of the ways they have been doing this, other than the print and electronic media, is through the Labour Day celebrations in the U.S. and Caribana in Canada, through the World Travel Market show in London, and in Belgium at the International Travel Board meeting.

The marketing and promotion officer noted that the 2005 Regional Marketing Campaign will again be carried out in islands such as Trinidad on March 1, Barbados March 8 and St. Lucia March 15, but this year will also include Antigua on March 14 and Martinique April 14.
