Youngsters celebrate

The young people of the Methodist Church in St. Vincent will celebrate Youth Month from February 6th to 27th 2005, under the theme “God’s Gifts: Use them or Lose them.” The month commenced with a procession of witness on Sunday February 6th at 3:00 pm from Edinboro; in the area of the basketball court, to the Kingstown Methodist Church, followed by a service at 4:00 pm. at which Rev. Elton Watson Jr. delivered the sermon on the theme. {{more}}

A release from the Methodist Church said that one of the objectives of the celebration is to encourage young people in the Church to use their God-given gifts and talents for service in the community and the Church, while at the same time deepening their Faith in Jesus Christ.
