Robbers hit Troumaca Post Office

A daring daylight robbery of the post office in Troumaca has left residents of the area perplexed.

Reports reaching SEARCHLIGHT are that the masked men entered the building while the postmistress was about leave.{{more}}

Searchlight was informed that while she was using the

washroom, the men entered the building and escaped with EC$3,600.

Villagers alerted the police that the suspects left the area in a white Toyota car. However, details of the incident are still being pieced together.

Matters attracting the attention of the police have tended to do with outbursts in violent crimes over recent months. Most of those acts involved discharge of gunshots and invariably ended in injuries or deaths.
