Twenty-five contestants are expected to sing their hearts out for a place in the finals of the Singing with the Stars season four karaoke competition, slated to take place this weekend.{{more}}
The semi-finals of the competition will see contestants performing their own versions of their favourite songs, this Sunday at Huffles Ranch in Brighton, of which 12 persons will be selected for the grand finale on Friday, June 13 at the SOV Lounge in Villa.
The winner of the finals takes home a number of prizes, including cash, dinner for two, and other awards.
Season four of the competition got started in March this year, with a charity event at the Chilli playing Field in Georgetown, and the final preliminary round took place in at the Casa Blanca Bar in Langley Park.
Preliminary rounds were also held in Layou, Chateaubelair, Bequia, Sandy Bay, Calliaqua and Marriaqua.
Singing with the Stars is a locally produced television show that airs on SVG TV on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m.
The show is hosted by Georgette âAunty Gâ Nanton and Nathalia Bhajan, and allows viewers to vote for their favourite singers, using the social media network Facebook.
The show is sponsored by SVG Broadcasting, K&L Auto Customs, Flashers Bakery, De Bistro, Gonsalves Liquors, and St Vincent Brewery.
