MISS PBSS Heritage 2014

Five intelligent students are rising to the occasion to support their colleagues who were weather-beaten by the recent trough system.{{more}} They are joining with the fund-raising committee of the Petit Bordel Secondary School on a venture that deserves the recognition and support from the public, for it is quite rare that such a challenge is posed and students gravitate towards making the situation better. It is through this that the collaboration for the Miss PBSS Heritage 2014 evolved.

“Reviving Our Heritage Through Pageantry,” is the theme that would govern the events tonight, April 4, 2014. On this night, the young women who pledged to assist will vie for the auspicious title of Miss PBSS Heritage 2014. The five students are Karean Matthews, Miss Montreal Gardens; Nickisha James, Miss Botanical Gardens; Evelyn Allahdua, Miss Trinity Falls; Kenesha Grant, Miss La Soufriere; and Noreen Browne, Miss Black Point.

The five young women will make six appearances, of which five will be judged. The event commences at 7 p.m. and admission at the gate is $10. The entertainment package includes performances by the PBSS Cheerleaders, PBSS Fashion Group, Skarpyon, Maddzart, Fireman and Skinny Fabulous.

The public is asked to support this fund-raising venture. Remember that our brothers and sisters are looking for your help. The event co-ordinator hopes that the show will give persons an insight into Petit Bordel’s cultural heritage.
