Absolute Entertainment to host Carnival Cool Down Cooler Fete

The place to be following the hectic Carnival season is at Rawacou Recreational Park for the first ever Carnival Cool Down Cooler Fete on Saturday, July 13.{{more}}

For the first two hours, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., premium drinks and beers will be on sale at a special price – all you do is purchase a ticket, walk with your cooler, preferably empty of course, buy your drink of choice and party.

Patrons will be allowed to bring along drinks; however, ice will not be allowed and can be purchased at the venue; food and drinks will also be available for purchase.

And SEARCHLIGHT will be partnering with Absolute Entertainment – the promoters of the event – to give one lucky SEARCHLIGHT Midweek reader the opportunity to win a cooler packed with prizes.

Beginning June 25 and running until July 2, Midweek readers qualify to win by answering the trivia questions that will be placed inside the Midweek newspaper.

Drop the clipping at SEARCHLIGHT offices in Kingstown for a chance to be in the weekly draw to win a range of fabulous prizes, including tickets and for the chance to win the grand prize of a well-stocked cooler.

The first draw will be held on Friday, June 28 and will continue every Friday leading up to July 13, when the ultimate draw for the cooler will take place.

A press conference will be held next week when the artistes to be featured will be revealed.

Early bird tickets will begin at $25; tickets go on sale on a date soon to be announced.
