DJ Specialist Wins Heineken Green Synergy DJ Clash in Bequia

By living up to his entertainment name, DJ Specialist showed that’s what was needed to win the fourth leg of the Heineken Green Synergy DJ Clash, held under the Almond Tree in Bequia on Saturday night.{{more}}

An astonishing eight DJ’s entered the fourth preliminary round of the 2009 Heineken Green Synergy DJ Clash.

Witnessed by a large appreciative crowd, pre competition favorite DJ Kid Supreme, D Original Pit-bull, DJ Lesroy and DJ Specialist all advanced to the second stage of the night’s competition.

In a face-off that had the capacity crowd in frenzy, DJ Kid Supreme and DJ Specialist took the competition to a higher level and unto a collision course with each other.

Undoubtedly, the best head to head of the Heineken Green Synergy DJ Clash, DJ Specialist outstanding versatility as an all-round entertainer reigned supreme.

DJ Specialist a.k.a Raphael Frederick, a 32-year-old veteran DJ of Union Vale, Bequia, said “it feels great to do so well in front of such a large crowd, and most importantly my supporters.”

He further added: “I am now going to practice on my technique. This will enable me to give an encore performance in the Finals.”

DJ Specialist now joins DJ Slick, DJ Spoon and DJ Neppy in the finals and awaits two more opponents who will vie to be named champion of the 2009 Heineken Green Synergy DJ Clash; at stake are the privilege of representing SVG at the grand finale in St.Maarten, and the opportunity to walk away with USD$10, 000.
