Shabeau looking for new faces

After the successful hosting of the Face of Shabeau Caribbean Competition last June, which saw Michelle Kurbanali of Trinidad and Mario Octuvon-Bazile of St. Maarten as the new faces of the magazine for a period of one year, Shabeau Magazine has begun planning to take the competition to the next level in 2008.{{more}}

In order to achieve this, steps have been taken to intensify the competition with more challenges, the participation of more international model and advertising agents, while booking more appearances for the 2008 winners.

Senior Editor of Shabeau Magazine Kofi A. Branch explained that each year the magazine looks to improve the competition, while making it bigger and better for the Caribbean. He then went on to confirm that effective immediately, tenders will be accepted from Model Agencies, Event Producers and Promoters to host the local competition – (Face of Shabeau – St. Vincent & The Grenadines).

This step has also been taken in all the other Caribbean islands where the competition was previously held and is looked at as a developmental move for producers in the countries to produce a show for the Caribbean’s Premier Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle Magazine.
