Who will be the next Face of Shabeau?

Fourteen of St. Vincent and the Grenadines’ top models will be at the Sugar Mill on March 31st to see who will be our male and female representatives at the Face of Shabeau in Barbados from May 31st to June 3rd.

After the successful Model Call on Saturday March 3rd, ten females and four males from the Mije, Le André, Blue Angels and Image Modelling Agencies were selected to participate in the SVG Face of Shabeau Finals.{{more}}

“We were very impressed by the models who turned up for the Model Call, and more so because we had all the modelling agencies in St Vincent banding together for charity” said the Managing Director of the Image Modelling Agency Monique Tash. She also stated that the panel of judges had a difficult time selecting the finalists. “The judge from Barbados, Kofi Branch, was extremely pleased at the selection of finalists chosen.”

These finalists will be going before the judges for several categories, which would include photos. “The models have already done their photo shoots for this category,” said Image’s Marketing Officer, Dr. Malaika Glasgow “and the patrons who go to the show on the 31st will be amazed at the standard of the models in St Vincent and their shots.”

This show, which is hosted by the Image Modelling Agency, is another in the series of Follow Fashion events and therefore the proceeds will be going to the Our Lady of Guadaloupe Home for Abused and Abandoned Girls. “So besides getting great entertainment, the patrons will be contributing to an extremely worthy cause”, says Tash.

Image Modelling Agency has committed 2007 towards “Fashion for Charity”, says Tash.
