Miss Big and Beautiful confident about regional title

Recently crowned Miss Big and Beautiful Queen Miss Big and Beautiful, Miss Samuel Tool Rental – Usille Joseph already has plans to captivate the judges and audiences at the regional leg of the pageant where she would be representing this country in Tortola on the November 25.

Joseph on Friday October 6 at Club Marcomay walked away with Best African Wear, Best Talent, Best Evening Gown and the prestigious title of the Miss Big and Beautiful 2006.{{more}}

She pointed out, “I am a comfortable talker, but the talent segment is definitely my strongest. I have the energy for it and I will bring it home!”

Exuding her bubbly personality, Joseph said that beauty was in the eye of the beholder but it was time that Caribbean women embrace their curvaceous bodies and stop complaining about them.

“Petite women always get a chance to share at so many beauty shows around the world, but who can really define beauty? We have many full figured beautiful Caribbean women so it is time that we use what we have and shine!” she said.

To win the local leg of the pageant, the 26 year old teacher’s college student proudly showed off her multi-coloured African wear, elegantly modeled her black evening wear, but blew the audience away with her dynamic performance as a grandmother showing her grandson some waistline skills.

The regional title is currently being held by Vincentian Dianne Jackson, who also won the local leg of the pageant.
