Heineken D.J. Competition continues at Walliabou

D.J. Jingo won the first round of Heineken’s Green Synergy D.J. Competition held Sunday August 13, 2006 at Rawacou beach.

Amidst the massive crowd gathered, DJ Jingo showed that he is going to be hard to beat, in this year’s quest, to select St. Vincent’s representative to participate in the Heineken Green Synergy D.J. Competition Finals set for Bahamas in October.{{more}}

“Heineken Green Synergy DJ competition is an annual event which is held in all the Caribbean Islands, to select each country’s representative to display their talent at the finals,” says Gray Davis Heineken Brand Manager. “This competition brings together diversity in music, resulting in quality, cultural and social vibes that only the Heineken brand can deliver.”

“I would like to say thanks to all of my supporters and the judges for giving me the opportunity to go further in the Heineken Green Synergy DJ Competition,” says DJ Jingo.

A total of three DJ’s from the Windward section of the island participated in the competition. DJ Jingo will progress to the next round of the competition to be held this Sunday at Walliabou beach.
