Dress Code at Miss Teen show
A couple of the participants in the Miss SVG Teen Show held last Saturday 13 at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex may not have followed or understood the guidelines given to them for the design of their prom wear dresses.
A couple of the dresses caused a stir among the crowd leaving some questioning whether or not the girls, who were presenting their schools, had any guidelines beforehand. âThere were definite guidelines,â stated show organizer Angenella Young when she spoke to SEARCHLIGHT.{{more}}
Young said that participants were told to avoid too revealing a dress, to avoid high splits and deep cuts. âThey were to use dresses befitting a fifteen-year-old school girl,â stated Young, who noticed the questionable dresses on the night of the show.
By and large most of the girls were within these modesty guidelines and the eventual overall winner, Intermediate High Schoolâs Stacy Bodye was the epitome of class and style.
