Ice Kid to appear on MTV’s Tempo

Vincentian DJ Ice Kid will be appearing on TEMPO, MTV Networkâs newest channel in the premiere of the Heineken Green Synergy DJ Competition airing Saturday, February 18th at 9:00 est.

Filmed October 8, 2005 in St. Lucia, competing DJs, hailing from Antigua, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Jamaica, Martinique, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, and Trinidad, took to the stage to showcase their skills in hopes of being crowned Heineken Green Synergy DJ Champion.

On hand for the event was legendary hip-hop pioneer, Phife Dawg, formerly of âA Tribe Called Questâ and his DJ/producer, DJ Rasta Roots.
