Annella eyes fashion career on international runways

Annella eyes fashion career on International runways.

She’s hot, sexy and talented; her action shows nothing less of being glamorous, and even her smile is a captivating turn on.
Annella Bascombe is fresh on the fashion scene but her attitude has left some remarkable impressions from regional fashion critics. {{more}}
This steamy hot Vincentian-born model is definitely about to make a name for herself in the fashion world. Her aim is to conquer the fashion industry and to achieve icon status with her electrifying style and attitude. Annella has her eyes set on dominating international runways and magazine covers, but for now, she is content to stick with BuzZ.
She recently returned from the Caribbean Model Search in Jamaica where she gangly paraded down the catwalk of Pulse Modeling Agency, owned by the Caribbean fashion mogul Kingsley Cooper. Her sultry style was good enough to propel her to the top 15 positions from over a throng of 7000 Caribbean model-hopefuls flickering the runway at the stylish Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in August.
Her talent goes beyond the realm of being a model. The lanky lass started out five years ago in pageantry, debuting with the Miss Inter-Store Pageant in rural city Georgetown. She would later go on to cop the crown at the prestigious Miss Independence pageant in 2001. Her energy continues to be fueled from her experiences with local fashion aficionado, Pearl Williams, and the numerous local pageants she participated in over the past five years numbering eight and counting.
“My experience locally here assisted me a lot, coping with the pressure and the professional level in which the show was held,” she explained to BuzZ.
The 21-year-old lass from Carrierre village, positioned in the basin of the Marriaqua Valley eight miles in the interior of St. Vincent, would of gotten her big break on the regional scene through the contacts of Pearl Williams. “I was asked by Pearl to attend the show, I was really excited about participating,” Annella said. “My self-esteem was high, I knew almost everything that was required of me, mainly through my vast experience at home,” the rising fashion model admitted.
With an uneasy expression, seemingly formulated from reminiscing, she confessed that her exposure to the regional fashion scene was a bit unexpected and stressful: “Sometimes I even asked myself what was I doing there?”
But, the well-poised Annella trounced over preliminary judging and two elimination rounds to make it to the top rankings. The end result saw her bowing out of the race in the top 15 position among the Caribbean’s hottest upcoming models.
Her night at the prestigious fashion gala left her with plans pointing in the direction of taking up a career in New York anytime the doors open and the right connections fall into place.
“Pretty soon I hope I will be walking down the same catwalk with models like Naomi Campbell,” she blushingly said.
“I think a lot of females in St. Vincent and the Grenadines have the potential to become super models, but we are all lacking the right connections in getting out there,” Annella told BuzZ.
Her last words to this writer were earthmoving: “True beauty goes beyond the physical appearance but it comes with right attitude.”
Nuff said.
