Vincent and Gloria Bacchus returned from New York to St. Vincent and the Grenadines to renew the marriage vows they had made fifty years ago at the St. George’s Cathedral in Kingstown.

Last Saturday 16th July 2005 brunette hair Gloria dressed in a shimmering fuchsia gown joined the dapper Vincent donned in a light peach striped Giovanno suit, once more at the altar.

There the radiant couple amidst a lovely setting of flowers and music happily uttered their vows (‘the sounds of the great gladness’) in front of their children, relatives and friends many of whom had journeyed from abroad to witness the ceremony which had Fr. Ulric Jones as the chief celebrant ably assisted by Dean Mc. Intosh and Fr. Ulric Skerrit. The couple was indeed blessed to be able to be in good health and to renew their marriage vows after fifty years.

Anniversary greetings going out to Mr. & Mrs. Vincent Bacchus of SVG residing in New York, celebrating 50 years of marriage.

Greetings are coming from your four sons, Anthony, Lancelot, Kurlan and Nicolas Bacchus.

Greetings are also coming from your daughters- in – law Alicia, Rosemin and Eleanor. Also from your grand and great grand children.
