New Montrose resident wins Guinness promotion

THANKS TO HIS girlfriend, New Montrose resident Bronson Durrant is now the lucky owner of a branded Guinness electrical cooler that came with 72 bottles of the Guinness beverage.

Durrant is the winner of a Guinness promotion which asked persons who bought a six pack of Guinness at participating outlets to place their name, address and contact information on the receipt and drop it in the box provided.

The draw for the raffle was held on April 13 at Massy Stores at Upper Bay Street and saw Ezran Hackett, a shopper at the supermarket, pulling Durrant’s name from the box.

“I am happy. I drink all the Brewery’s products, but it was my girlfriend Mekeisha Bibby who put my name in the raffle and we are glad for the drinks,”

commented Durrant adding that this is the first time that he had ever taken part in one of the Brewery’s promotions.

The raffle was part of the Brewery’s 2018 Guinness Eight Balls of Fire pool competition which was won this year by Brian John of Richland Park.
