The family of the late Mrs Sydney Augusta Thompson thanks you most sincerely for your kind expressions of sympathy in their recent bereavement.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in your chair,

Perhaps you sent funeral spray, if so we saw you there,

Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could say,

Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us all day.

Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so very much.
