My girlfriend is a huge flirt and that really bothers me!

My problem is simple; my girl is a huge flirt and I don’t trust her at all. She flirts with my friends, my cousins, my co-workers, and it’s very embarrasing.

I would love to take this relationship to the next level, but she doesn’t get it how much it bothers me. She thinks I should “get over it”.{{more}} Even my friends talk about her talking and touching them while she talks, how close she sits next to them etc. I want it to work, but I don’t see it changing. Should I stay or go?

Yes, I can understand how this would make you uncomfortable and also upset because it would seem as though she isn’t hearing you or doesn’t seem to care. But this really is going to be up to you about what is going to happen next in your relationship.

It sounds as though you are still a young couple and are trying to find your way in general. Sometimes these situations reveal themselves and make you take a good and hard look at your relationship.

If your girlfriend doesn’t see any problem with what she is doing, there is nothing that you can do about it. Again, this is up to you, not her, so the ball is in your court. Who knows, maybe she’s a better friend than a life partner? You will have to come to that decision on your own.
