I have a very overbearing boyfriend who wants to know where I am going and what I am doing all day long. Rosie, he treats me as if he owns me. My mom hates him and doesn’t know half of what he does to me. Otherwise she would want to kill him! We are both 19 and in college. This isn’t fun anymore what can I do?{{more}}

This is very simple, leave. You never have to put up with someone who makes you unhappy, you really don’t.
You are 19, 19. Why would you put yourself through this? I agree with your mom. She senses that he’s not worthy of you and your time. You are smart, because once your mother finds out his days with you would be numbered anyway.
Look, when you are in a relationship you never have to put up with mind games, someone potentially abusing you, control issues and lack of trust. Once your gut tells you it doesn’t feel right, listen and walk away. Plus you are way too young for this type of drama. You have so much living to do that it is ridiculous to stick this out.
Good luck and remain focused on school, your future and having safe fun. You don’t need this drama.
