Richland Park Primary gets new computer lab
THE STUDENTS AND staff of the Richland Park Government School have been encouraged to never allow their circumstances to determine the size of their dreams. That boost was delivered by Tacelia C. Williams of TCW Foundation during the handing over of a computer lab at their school on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

A former student of the school, Williams, who spearheaded the project in collaboration with other donors, supporters and partners, said the lab is dedicated to the memory of my grandmother, Gertrude Williams.
She said her foundation supported children by helping to provide school supplies as they believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their circumstances, and that the children of Richland Park are worth the investment and the commitment.
Speaking of her grandmother Williams said she was her “anchor, my guide, and my safe place as members of my own family migrated”.
“ My grandmother became the steady presence that kept me rooted here and focused on my education. Rain or shine, there was no excuse that could keep me from school. Nothing came before education. Although she did not have the opportunity to receive a formal education, she understood its power and importance,”Williams told the gathering at the ceremony.
THE LAB PACKAGE comprises 11 computers, mouse, flash drives, mouse pads, monitors, a printer, printing paper and chairs.
