Redemption Sharpes man charged in shooting death of St Lucian
A REDEMPTION SHARPES man who shot a St Lucian man about his body, has been charged with the murder of Troy Casley.
Jarell Phillips, 24, appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate Colin John yesterday, August 24, 2026 where he was charged with the murder of the 34 year old national of St Lucia.
Phillips is alleged that, with malice aforethought, he unlawfully caused the death of Casley by shooting him about his body at Great House, Lowmans Leeward, on June 23, 2026.
He was also charged with two counts of attempted murder arising from the same incident. It is alleged Phillips carried out the acts beyond mere preparation towards the commission of that offence. The charges were laid indictably, therefore Phillips was not required to enter a plea. He has been remanded.
