Problem Child is not chasing records
Shertz “Problem Child” James, aka Vincy Bad Boy, is not actually chasing any numbers; nor is he chasing any records or anything where the road march is concerned.
Problem Child, who following his latest 2026 road march win with ‘Party Time’, now has six wins, three consecutively ( 2024, 2025, and 2026) told SEARCHLIGHT that “winning road match is not really always the goal”.
“I just always try to have good music to begin with that the people love, and I guess in so doing, a lot of times that comes with the territory of putting out good quality music for all ages and all walks of life. It’s not always easy at all, but I’m not actually chasing any numbers or chasing any records or anything like that with the music,” he explained.
“ I’m actually looking at trying to just make the island look good and sound good musically from my perspective, as best as I can.”
Problem Child said he will be exercising the same effort to “put out good music” for 2027.
Apart from his three successive road match titles, he placed first and second in 2025, and was even in disbelief at having won six Road March titles because he never even saw himself winning one.
