Michael Febuary continues family legacy
IN 2011, Eric Febuary placed second overall in the Common Entrance examinations. Now 15 years later, his younger brother, Michael has continued his family’s academic legacy by landing their name in the top 10 yet again, placing second for boys and third overall in the 2026 Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment (CPEA).
Michael’s stellar performance alongside that of Draádon Ackie and Philan Lewis, all top performers in the examinations sent the Richland Park Seventh Day Adventist Primary School into joyous celebrations when the results were revealed.
Michael told SEARCHLIGHT that while he felt very good about his performance, he still believed he could have done better, “But overall it’s a very good
placement, and I’m proud of myself”.
His preparation for the examination included reviewing a lot of past papers and limiting his screen time.
He also advised upcoming sixth graders not to give up on their education and to keep studying.
