Vermont man charged for murder, remanded
A Vermont man was remanded in custody after he was charged with murdering a Fitz Hughes man by stabbing him to death.
Kemarl Small appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate Colin John yesterday, June 1, 2026 where he was charged that on May 29, 2026 at Campden Park with malice aforethought, he caused the death of Rayjens Carter of Fitz Hughes by an unlawful act.
The matters were laid indictably so Small was not required to plea. He was not granted bail for the offence and was remanded in custody.
The matter is adjourned to July 2, 2026.
