STUDENTS GIVE CPEA BEST SHOT!
WHILE STUDENTS have given mixed reactions about the level of difficulty in the Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment( CPEA) examinations, they remain optimistic about their performance, and even have some advice to upcoming students that they must work hard in order to achieve something great in life.
Nathan Williams of the Kingstown Preparatory School, had just exited his exam room on May 13, 2026 the first day of the two-day examination, when he told SEARCHLIGHT that the Mathematics exam was easy but the Social Studies was “kinda” bumpy.
Despite this, Nathan said he feels very confident about his performance, and that he invested his time in reviewing past papers, especially those with questions he got wrong in his preparations for the exams.
His teachers, too, motivated him as they knew of his potential.
“So I just believed in myself, and they encouraged me, and…I basically just feel good.”
