Two non-nationals on cocaine charges
A VENEZUELAN and a Grenadian man have been charged with illegally possessing, trafficking and attempting to import 434,268 grammes of cocaine into St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Frank Garcia, and Alister Haynes of Venezuela, and Petit Martinique/Grenada respectively, appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate Colin John, on April 23, 2026 where they was charged that on April 20, 2026 at Calliaqua they did attempt to import 434,268 grammes of cocaine; had the drug in their possession with intent to supply to another; and for the purpose of drug trafficking.
The duo was also charged with entering the state of St Vincent and the Grenadines other than at a port of entry; and disembarking without the consent of an immigration officer.
