Public Service Union preparing for elections
The Public Service Union (PSU), in preparation for its general elections, is informing its members and the wider public that the process is now officially underway.
Nomination Day has been scheduled for March 25, 2026, and eligible members are invited to submit nominations for the various leadership positions within the Union on or before nomination day.
Nomination forms are available at the Union’s headquarters and may be collected during normal business hours, the Union states in a release. It is asking members to obtain and submit their forms within the stipulated time frame to ensure their participation in the electoral process.
The following positions are open for nomination: President; 1st Vice President; 2nd Vice President; General Secretary; Assistant Secretary; Treasurer; Grievance Officer;
Young Workers Chair; and Women’s Chair.
The PSU is encouraging “all eligible members to actively participate in this important democratic process, either by offering themselves for service or by supporting the nomination and election of committed representatives”.
The Union said further details regarding the election process will be communicated in due course.
