Candlelight vigil to be held in memory of murder victim
RESIDENTS OF PARK HILL and surrounding communities will hold a candlelight vigil this evening, Tuesday, January, 13 2026 in memory of murder victim Errol Richards.
The candlelight vigil and march is expected to begin at about 6:30 p.m, from the area known as “Wuks” in Park Hill.
Relatives of the 69-year-old man, whose decomposing body was found at his home on January, 7 2026 told SEARCHLIGHT that Richards suffered “a very horrible death.”
The relative, who preferred not to be named said if Richards had done wrong to anyone,”they should have just beat him” to teach him a lesson.
She said at times, Richards would ‘handle’ provision and other stuff not his own. He was reported to be a farmer, but the relative said he was also in the habit of picking up dried coconuts to sell.
