Pompey noted that for this yearâs competition, he had to step out of his comfort zone and dig a little deeper.
âI have a particular style that I used to use and I had to go a little extreme beyond thatâ¦in terms of digging a little deeper,â he said.
Pompey noted that he tries to motivate and inspire the girls to have confidence in themselves during his practice sessions.
âWhen I give them something to play, donât ever say it is too hard, because I know that they can play. I always tell them anything I give them to play, I know they can play it. If they think itâs too hard, I will them how to do itâ¦,â he pointed out.
The pannist noted that he was filled with pride, because he considers himself to be a surrogate father for the girls.
