Homeless man found dead at Lowmans bus stop

Police say they are treating as a homicide the demise of a homeless man who was found dead near the bus shed in Lowmans leeward, yesterday morning.{{more}}

They have identified the man as 66-year-old Clement Medica.

Homicide investigators were summoned sometime after 6 a.m., when a passerby saw the man lying dead at the side of the road, a detective told SEARCHLIGHT yesterday.

The dead man was lying face down and was nude from the waist down.There was a trail of what appeared to be blood running away from the body.

Articles of clothing, a pair of matching shoes, a plastic bottle, and a bar of bath soap were strewn under the bus shed.

Scores of person looked on as police conducted their initial investigations at the scene.

Some residents of the area said they had seen the man under the bus shed Sunday night.
