Shaq Thomas does it for the boys

Shaquille ThomaS is one of the heroes of the 2006 Common Entrance Exams.

Thomas shared the top spot for boys with Mbeki Swift and placed joint second overall with two other pupils. {{more}}His grades were 93.33% for Math, and 90 % in both English and General Paper.

Son of Carlos and Sonia Thomas, Shaquille is from the interior district of Marriaqua. But he added to a brilliant performance for the St. Mary’s Roman Catholic school located in the heart of capital city, Kingstown.

He feels “good” about his accomplishment and has his sights on a career as a “Mechanical Engineer.”

He has some advice to his peers: “Study during the term. If you study hard and you understand what you are doing, you will find the examination easy.”

Shaquille enjoys cricket and football. His heroes in those sports are Brian Lara and Ronaldinho.
