Shopkeeper and Rillian Hill man charged with cocaine possession

Two men have been arrested and charged with illegal possession of cocaine.

On April 18, 2024, a 37-year-old Kevin Nelson, a shopkeeper of Long Wall and Orande Dunbar 37 years, self-employed of Rillan Hill are accused of having in their possession 6.5 grammes of cocaine with the intent to supply another. The offence was committed at Paul’s Avenue  about 12:00pm.

Nelson and Dunbar appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court. Dunbar pleaded Guilty to the charge and was remanded in custody. He is to appear at the Serious Offences Court on Monday, April 22, 2024 for Facts and sentencing. Nelson pleaded not guilty to the charge, he was granted bail in the sum of $2500 ECC with one  surety. He is to also to appear at the Serious Offences Court on the same date.
