A 21 YEAR OLD labourer of Clare Valley who pled guilty to a charge of wounding when he appeared in court last week Wednesday, May 3, will know his fate tomorrow.

Karon Alexander appeared in the Kingstown magistrate’s Court charged for unlawfully and maliciously wounding a 34 year old Auxiliary police officer of Clare Valley by striking her to the right side of her face and right eye with a Hairoun bottle on March 26, 2022.

The police said in a release that the incident happened at Campden Park. Alexander was arrested and charged on April 30.

When he appeared in court Alexander was remanded into custody and the matter adjourned to May 10 for sentencing.
