Stubbs man out on $15,000 bail

Kimanie Joe, a 29-year-old labourer of Stubbs, is currently on bail for gun and ammunition charges.

Last Saturday, September 16, Joe was arrested and charged with having in his possession a .357 revolver and six rounds of .38 special ammunition, without a licence.

It is alleged that he was nabbed at Campden Park with the weapon.

When he appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Monday, he pleaded not guilty and was granted composite bail in the amount of EC$15,000.

He was also ordered by Chief Magistrate Rechanne Browne-Matthias to report to the police on Mondays and Thursdays and to surrender all travel documents.

Stop notices have also been placed at all ports.
