Three more charges laid against Arnos Vale resident

Three more charges have been laid against Carlos Lewis, an Arnos Vale man who on Monday received a five-year prison sentence for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

Yesterday, Lewis reappeared before the Serious Offences Court and was jointly charged with Alason Lampkin for attempted murder, robbery and kidnapping.

On Monday, Station Sergeant Duane Bailey told the court that on the day they found the firearm in Lewis’ home, three men were present in the house, one of whom he described as a known criminal.

Lewis and Lampkin, who both have legal representation, would reappear before the court on April 21, 2017. (AS)
