14 witnesses to testify in Williams murder case

Fourteen witnesses are set to testify in the Preliminary Inquiry into a matter in which Pamela Williams was bludgeoned to death on November 14, 2016 at Kingstown Park.

This was disclosed yesterday at the Serious Offences Court, after murder accused Jurani ‘Wanny’ Baptiste hopped to the witness stand, {{more}}still injured from the beating that was meted out to him by angry Kingstown Park residents who met him in Williams’ home.

Baptiste is not allowed to plead to the charge and the date for the Preliminary Inquiry was set for March 27, 2017.

Police apprehended the Sandy Bay teen after a series of gruesome murders were committed within four hours between Campden Park and Kingstown Park.

Baptiste is a person of interest in the murders of Nicholas Layne, Avis Israel and her son Ronald Israel, who were killed earlier that same night. (AS)
