Rillan Hill man pleads not guilty to charge of theft of vehicle
A Rillan Hill man has been granted bail in the sum of $1,000 after pleading not guilty to the charge of stealing a vehicle which was rented by the ET Joshua Airport.{{more}}
Duane Phillips Moses, 20, labourer, appeared in court last week to answer the charge of taking conveyance without consent.
According to reports, on March 30, the vehicle, RQ 438, owned by Raffique Bailey of Georgetown and driven by Ralph Dabreo, was parked outside the arrival area at the airport at about 3:15 p.m.
Dabreo is said to have come out of the vehicle and gone to the taxi booth nearby, leaving the vehicle unattended with the key still in the ignition.
At about 4:20 p.m., when he returned to the spot where the vehicle had been parked, he noticed that it was missing. He said someone told him they saw a man jump into the driverâs seat and drive towards Kingstown.
The vehicle was discovered in Vermont later that night.
Moses will return to court on April 14, 2015 to answer the charge.(KW)
