A 48-year-old man of Barrouallie has been charged with the murder of Grafton Richardson, also of the same address.{{more}}

Sydney Coombs was hauled before the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning, but was not required to plead to the charge that was laid indictably.

Magistrate Rechanne Browne-Matthias adjourned the matter to February 13 and transferred it to the Serious Offences Court.

Reports are that Richardson, who is alleged to have been severely beaten about his body, following an altercation with persons between February 1 and 2, was discovered dead at his home by his brother Kennard Richardson on , February 2, at Barrouallie.
