Guy, a hospital attendant, was convicted at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on November 29.

She was found guilty of assaulting Patricia Edwards on November 28, 2013.

The court heard that there was a dispute in Kingstown earlier that day between the two women. The argument continued at Ottley Hall that evening.

Guy alleged that the victim pushed her and that was when she committed the offence.

The victim suffered first degree burns about her body. She was treated at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital and has since been discharged.(KW)
