Wilson charged with stabbing death of Daniel
Just two days after a woman was stabbed to death in Greiggs, a man from the same community was arrested and charged with causing her death.{{more}}
Aubrey Wilson, 36, a mason, appeared at the Kingstown Magistrateâs Court on Tuesday, August 16, and was charged with murder of Stephmnie Daniel and the attempted murder of Vasilka Maloney.
Daniel, 33, mother of three, succumbed to a single stab wound to her neck on Sunday, August 14, at Greiggs.
Maloney, who was also there when the killing took place, suffered a stab wound to her head from the knife of Danielâs alleged killer.
It is alleged that Daniel was attacked and stabbed by her former lover shortly after 4pm.
Before entering the police vehicle, Wilson stood outside the courthouse and posed for reportersâ cameras.
The matters were transferred to the Serious Offences Court for Preliminary Inquiry on September 14, 2011.
