$10,000 bail for multiple charges

Jerry Lewis was granted $10,000 composite bail for wounding and other charges when he appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Monday.{{more}}

Lewis, a resident of Prospect, was charged with wounding Jefeesha Durrant and Shelene Mc Neil of Arnos Vale. He was also charged with navigating a speedboat in a negligent manner to cause harm to persons and failing to render assistance after a collision in coastal waters off Cane Garden point. The offences occurred on April 12, 2009.

Lewis pleaded not guilty to all charges when he appeared before Magistrate Zoila Ellis Browne. The case was adjourned to April 19, 2010, at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court.
