Green on murder charge

Shuni Greene was charged with murder when he appeared at the Serious Offences Court on Tuesday.{{more}}

Greene, 28 of Mount Grenan was previously charged with causing grievous bodily harm to 33-year-old Ulrick Brian Adams of Mount Grenan; his charge was changed to murder when Adams died.

The offence is said to have occurred between 8 p.m. on September 9, 2009 and 8:30 a.m. on September 16, 2009.

Greene was remanded in custody and will reappear in court on December 13, 2009.

According to a press release from the Police Public Relations Department, the deceased sustained a blow to the head with an unknown object during an altercation with Greene. A post mortem is expected to be carried out on Adams’ body.
