Trini man nabbed in police dragnet

A Trinidad and Tobago citizen, name given as Brian Joseph was sent back home last Friday. He was one of two persons picked up as a result of a raid by members of the Rapid Response Unit in Paul’s Avenue last week Tuesday.

Joseph was reportedly wanted as a witness in connection to some murders in his homeland. {{more}}

A prolonged co-operation by the RRU found him in the dragnet.

No one was charged as a result of the Police action, but another person, identified only as a Venezuelan was also nabbed in the exercise.

The owner of the residence raided during the mission is under investigation by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
