GHS marks 106th year with fashion showcase

In commemoration of the school’s 106th anniversary, the Girls’ High School held a ‘Fashion Showcase’ on July 3, 2017 at the school.

Present Art and Design students were given an opportunity to display their creativity through the modelling of self-made dresses, skirts, and T-shirts. The designs of past students, Natasha Hypolite, Kimsha Williams, Christal Oliver and China Primus, were also on display. There was also an electrifying performance by guest artiste Joel ‘Dynamite’ Tyril, performing his 2017 hit song ‘Brave’.

The success of the show has paved the way for an annual GHS Fashion Showcase.

The show was organized by teachers Lenski Adams, Bernadine Ollivierre (the Needlework teacher), Kamara Brackin (Art teacher) and La Quinta Peniston.
