Open Bible Standard Churches to host Good Friday Concert

The Open Bible Standard Churches SVG are presenting a Good Friday concert on March 29, 2024, to be staged at the Dasent cottage church.

Under the theme “Calvary,” the event is being billed as an evening of praise to God in remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ on a cross at Calvary.

Member of the church, Peggy Ann Neverson said Friday’s worship, which gets going at 4:30 p.m, will be a national event involving all the local Open Bible churches.

She explained that a number of other

churches will also be involved in the praise and worship concert.

The Music and Worship department of the church has been organising this event for over a decade but the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and the eruptions of La Soufriere Volcano scuttled the concert during that time; and last year, performances formed part of the Gospel Fest extravaganza.
